When you take the back off your phone you will see this Rear Housing is above the battery covering the internal components in the top section of your LG G2 phone. The housing has the Camera Lens set into it as opposed to the Camera Lens being part of the back cover. The volume buttons are also part of this Rear Housing. If the camera lens or volume buttons are damaged this housing will be required.
